Virgin America Bullish on HTML5 — Flash, not so much: Probably a Good Thing…

Don’t get me wrong — I love Flash for interactive applications, rich animation, and widget-tized behavior on the web.  But for most web content, it just doesn’t cut it — browsers choke on it, and the iPhone and iPad (as well as the Droid out-of-the-box) cannot handle it.

Here is a recent article about Virgin America (the airline) moving away from Flash in favor of HTML5, in its web content space.
